A man was shot and killed in Compton Friday and sheriff’s detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding his death.
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department deputies were called at 12:51 a.m. to the 100 block of East Caldwell Street and South Willowbrook Avenue where they found the victim with gunshot wounds, said homicide Lt. t Arturo Spencer.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
There was no suspect information.
