Officers issued five citations for driving with a suspended/revoked license or driving unlicensed during an overnight driver’s license/sobriety checkpoint in Long Beach, authorities said Saturday.
The checkpoint at Seventh Street and Federation Drive began at 6 p.m. Friday and ended at 2 a.m. Saturday, the Long Beach Police Department reported.
Of the total 1,948 vehicles that passed through the checkpoint, officers screened 449 motorists and their vehicles.
