Firefighters knocked down an attic fire in a home in the Central/Alameda area of Los Angeles Saturday.
The fire inside the single-family home at 1214 E. King St. was reported at 5:44 p.m., according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Nicholas Prange.
The LAFD dispatched 22 firefighters, who extinguished the flames in about 15 minutes, Prange said.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire remained under investigation, he said.
