A person was shot and wounded Monday in Pasadena, and police were working to arrest a suspect who was believed barricaded in a nearby building.
The shooting was reported about 10 a.m. near Del Mar Boulevard and Raymond Avenue, according to Lisa Derderian of the city of Pasadena. The injured person’s condition was not immediately known.
A suspect was believed to be barricaded near the shooting scene, and the standoff with police was continuing early Monday afternoon, Derderian said.
As a precaution, Metro A (Blue) Line rail service was interrupted between the Fillmore and Memorial Park stations, and buses were routed away from the area.
