A man in his 80s was killed Thursday in a two-vehicle collision in Granada Hills.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the driver of a black 2019 Honda Accord was traveling southbound on Balboa Boulevard near Sesnon Boulevard around 6 a.m. when the car collided with a silver 2006 Toyota Corolla, which was turning left from eastbound Sesnon onto northbound Balboa.
The driver of the Toyota was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. His name was being withheld pending notification of relatives.
The driver of the Honda was not injured and remained at the scene while officers investigated the collision, police said.
Detectives have not made any arrests and urged any witnesses to contact police.
