Authorities Friday identified an 81-year-old man who was killed in a two-vehicle collision in Granada Hills.

The crash occurred about 6 a.m. Thursday on Balboa Boulevard near Sesnon Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Parvinder Singh Dua of Granada Hills died at the scene, the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner reported.

According to the LAPD, a black 2019 Honda Accord was southbound on Balboa Boulevard when the car collided with a silver 2006 Toyota Corolla that was turning left from eastbound Sesnon onto northbound Balboa.

The driver of the Toyota was fatally injured. The driver of the Honda was not injured and remained at the scene while officers investigated the collision, police said.
