Firefighters Tuesday were working to extinguish a fire that spread from some palm trees and vehicles to a nearby house.
The fire was reported about 1:05 p.m. in the 7600 block of North Calvin Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
No injuries were immediately reported.
