A single-story house fire was quickly knocked down Wednesday in the Lincoln Heights neighborhood.
Firefighters responded to the 2300 block of North Lincoln Park Avenue near North Broadway at around 2:40 p.m. to a report of a residential fire, according to spokesman Nicholas Prange of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
It took 36 firefighters some 23 minutes to fully extinguish the flames, the department said.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
