Authorities asked the public for help Saturday finding a 74-year-old man suffering from severe dementia and diabetes who went missing in Norwalk.
Daniel Strand was last seen at about 8:30 a.m. Saturday in the 13200 block of Bloomfield Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Strand was described as a bald, 5-feet-10-inch-tall white male weighing 148 pounds with hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing a green hospital gown and gray dress pants.
The sheriff’s Missing Persons Unit urged anyone with information regarding Strand’s whereabouts to call them at 323-890-5500. Tipsters wishing to remain anonymous can call Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS.
