Three people were killed Sunday in a three-car crash caused by dusty conditions on a Palm Springs roadway.
At 3:05 p.m., Palm Springs police reported the crash on North Gene Autry Trail between Salvia and Via Escuela.
Palm Springs News Channel 3 reported the crash was caused by dusty conditions and that the other people involved in the collision had minor to moderate injuries. They were taken to a hospital for treatment.
Palm Springs police closed East Vista Chino at the wash due to blowing sand and poor visibility.
