A 61-year-old man struck and killed by a vehicle on the Artesia (91) Freeway in the Bellflower area was identified Wednesday by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner.
Miguel Gonzalez was fatally injured around 5:55 a.m. Tuesday on the eastbound 91 Freeway near Clark Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The HOV and several other lanes were closed in the area while an investigation was conducted.
No other details were released.
