The Los Angeles Fire Department Saturday airlifted a mountain biker to a hospital following a fall in the Pacific Palisades area.
The fall occurred at about 1:40 p.m. in the 20800 block of Waveview Drive, according to the LAFD’s Nicholas Prange.
A 21-year-old woman crashed on a remote trail near Trippet Ranch in Topanga State Park, Prange said. Paramedics contacted the patient on the ground and took her to an awaiting helicopter nearby, he said.
She was airlifted to a hospital with moderate injuries, Prange said.
