It took firefighters 12 minutes to put out flames in a single-family house in the Fairfax area of Los Angeles that had burned previously, authorities said Saturday.

The fire was reported at 2:32 p.m. at 645 N. Gardner St., according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Nicholas Prange.

Firefighters limited the damage to contents inside the home, he said. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire was under investigation.
