A man was shot to death Saturday in the Vermont Square area of Los Angeles.
The shooting was reported at 3:13 p.m. at 51st Street and Denker Avenue, Los Angeles Police Department Officer Drake Madison told City News Service.
The man, believed between the ages of 25 and 30, was found on the ground and pronounced dead at the scene, Madison said.
The male suspect got out of a dark four-door sedan and exchanged words with the victim before shooting him, he said. The gunman then drove away northbound on Denker Street.
