Authorities Thursday sought the public’s help to find a Michigan man who went missing from the Mt. Wilson area near Altadena over the weekend.
Aleksander Novak Zemplinski, 43, is believed to have been on Red Box Road on Mt. Wilson about 11 p.m. on Sunday, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Zemplinski is white, 6 feet 3 inches tall, weighs 195 pounds, has blue eyes and is bald. He has s circular scar on one of his arms. He was last seen wearing a tan hat, a gray shirt and sunglasses.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts was urged to call the sheriff’s Missing Persons Unit at 323-890-5500, or Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS. Tipsters may also use the website lacrimestoppers.org
