Police were investigating a military ordnance that was found Thursday in Sherman Oaks.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, responding officers and a bomb squad unit responded to the 5100 block of Matilija Avenue regarding a report of a military ordnance in the area around 1:45 p.m. Thursday.
Police said there was no threat posed to the community.
