Three people were killed in a multiple-vehicle collision in Azusa Wednesday, including two motorcyclists.

Officers responded around 4 p.m. Wednesday to a collision near the intersection of Cerritos Avenue and Arrow Highway, according to the Azusa Police Department.

Two motorcyclists were traveling eastbound on Arrow Highway at high speed before colliding with several other vehicles near the intersection. One motorcycle spun out of control and struck a person sitting in the area, KTLA reported.

Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene, where they pronounced two victims dead.

An additional victim was taken to a hospital, where they later died.
