It took 48 firefighters 18 minutes to put out flames in one top-floor unit of a three-story, 80-unit apartment building Saturday.
The fire was reported at 2:41 p.m. at 10480 W. National Blvd., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department’s Brian Humphrey.
Flames were showing when firefighters arrived.
The unit was in the northwest section of the garden-style structure built in 1968, Humphrey said.
It contained “excessive personal storage,” he said.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire was under investigation, Humphrey said.
