Four people were killed in a multi-vehicle crash in Malibu Tuesday evening.
The crash was reported at 8:30 p.m. and firefighters were called to the 21500 block of Pacific Coast Highway where they found the victims of the crash along with the severely damaged vehicles, KTLA 5 reported.
Fox11 reported some of the victims were ejected in the crash.
A Los Angeles County Fire Department captain confirmed the deaths and told KTLA speed was likely a factor in the crash.
NBC4 reported some of the cars ricocheted off of parked cars and it was not immediately known if some of the victims were pedestrians.
Two other victims were taken to a hospital in an unknown conditions.
Pacific Coast Highway will be closed from Carbon Canyon to Las Flores Canyon in both directions for an unknown direction due to the crash, according to the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station.
