A man was shot to death in Compton and an investigation was underway to determine who did it, authorities said Monday.
The shooting was reported at about 7:45 p.m. Sunday in the 15100 block of White Avenue, according to the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
Arriving deputies found the man on the sidewalk with apparent gunshot wounds to his lower body, sheriff’s officials said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
