A car fire behind a vacant two-story duplex in Leimert Park Sunday threatened to burn the residence but was put out by firefighters within 20 minutes.
The fire was reported at 10:13 p.m. Sunday at 3548 W. Stocker St., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department’s Nicholas Prange.
Flames were showing when firefighters arrived at the duplex with parking under the apartments, Prange said.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire was under investigation, he said.
