Authorities sought the public’s assistance Wednesday in locating a 27-year-old man with a mental health disorder who was last seen in Compton.

Jaquice DeAnthony Blackman was last seen in the 2000 block of North Long Beach Boulevard, between Pine and Tucker streets, around 9:35 a.m. Tuesday, according to the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.

Deputies described Blackman as a 5-foot-2-inch tall Black man weighing 185 pounds with brown braided hair and brown eyes.

Blackman also has a beard and a tattoo of the word “KISYMA” on his right forearm. Blackman was last seen wearing a red polo shirt, dark blue jeans and black shoes.

Blackman has been diagnosed with a mental health disorder and a diminished mental capacity and may have been headed to Downey, authorities said.
