Authorities peacefully resolved a standoff in La Puente Thursday after a suspect barricaded himself inside a vehicle.
The barricade was reported around 9:45 a.m. Thursday at the intersection of Fairgrove and Sunset avenues, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Personnel from the LASD’s Special Enforcement Bureau were called to assist deputies from the Industry Station in getting the person to surrender.
The suspect surrendered and was taken into custody about two hours later, according to LASD.
The department did not say what the person was suspected of having done. A description of the suspect was not provided.
