A man was killed in a shooting in Hemet, police announced Saturday.
Officers responded to a report of a shooting about 9:40 p.m. on Friday in the 800 block of South Palm Avenue, where they found a man suffering from several gunshot wounds.
The man was rushed to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. His name was not released pending notification to the next of kin.
