A search was underway Saturday evening for a 61-year-old man with diminished mental capacity who went missing from Pico Rivera.
Fidel Celestino Hernandez was last seen at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the 8800 block of Whittier Boulevard, according to the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
Hernandez is Hispanic, 5 feet, 8 inches tall, 203 pounds, with short, combed-back gray/black hair, hazel eyes, mustache and a tattoo of “ELISA” on his left shoulder. He was wearing a black leather jacket, gray cargo shorts and black boots.
Hernandez has a diminished mental capacity and requires medication, sheriff’s officials said.
