Authorities sought the public’s help Friday to identify two suspects in a grand theft robbery at a Costco in the Westlake Village area.

Deputies responded to the 5700 block of Lindero Canyon Road at around 3:50 p.m. Nov. 5 to a report of a male suspect entering Costco and placing two Star Wars Lego sets valued at $1,013 inside a shopping cart before leaving the store through an emergency exit, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Authorities said the suspect then entered the passenger side of a white Kia Soul.

Sheriff’s officials released a surveillance photo of the suspect, along with the suspected vehicle involved and a woman presumed to be the getaway driver, in hopes of public assistance with identifying and locating the suspects.

Anyone with information about the suspects or the alleged robbery was urged to contact the sheriff’s Malibu/Lost Hills station at 818-878-1808. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous can call Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477.
