Firefighters battled flames Saturday in a two-story house at the end of a Northridge cul-de-sac.

The fire was reported at 2:11 p.m. at 17639 W. Osborne St., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department’s Nicholas Prange.

Flames were showing from the house when firefighters arrived, Prange said.

“Firefighters made access and extinguished the flames in the living space, and then worked their way up to the fire in the attic,” he said.

It took 45 firefighters 20 minutes to put out the flames, Prange said.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire was under investigation.
