A motorcycle rider was killed in a crash Saturday in Tujunga.
The accident was reported at 12:50 p.m. in the 3500 block of Big Tujunga Canyon Road, prompting the California Highway Patrol to issue a Sigalert shutting down northbound and southbound lanes at North Trail Canyon Road.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, CHP Officer A. De Los Reyes told City News Service.
The circumstances leading up to the crash and a description of the rider were not immediately available, Reyes said.
