A magnitude 3.2 earthquake was reported Tuesday at 2:19 a.m. centered near Borrego Springs in Riverside County, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The quake was centered 9.1 miles northeast of Borrego Springs and was about 6 miles deep.
It was centered 36.6 miles south of La Quinta, 27.4 miles south of Coachella and 30.1 miles south of Indio.
There were no reports of damage or injuries.
