A male was shot and killed in a restaurant near Crypto.com Arena Tuesday evening.
Officers responded to the 800 block of West Olympic Boulevard, near Figueroa Street, about a block north of the arena, around 6:15 p.m. to a report regarding shots fired, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
An unidentified male victim was taken to a hospital and was later pronounced dead, police said.
A male suspect fled the scene in a white Honda, which police believe may be an SUV.
The motive leading up to the shooting was unclear, and police were continuing their investigation Tuesday evening.
There was not an event at the arena Tuesday.
