A man who was killed in a two-vehicle collision on the Pearblossom Highway (state Route 138) in the Antelope Valley near Llano was identified Wednesday.
David Hernandez, 37, was identified by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s office as the victim. He was pronounced dead at the scene by Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics.
The crash was reported at 1:07 a.m. and officers from the California Highway Patrol were called to the highway and 185th Street East, where they found the victim trapped in one of the vehicles and debris strewn across the roadway, CHP Officer Sean Lough told City News Service.
One vehicle flipped on its side and another vehicle, a sedan, was found off the highway in the bushes.
