Los Angeles Fire Department firefighters were battling a blaze Saturday evening at a two-story home with heavy fire showing and extending to surrounding vegetation which is exposing an additional structure.
The fire was reported at 11626 N. Ruffner Ave., near Balboa Boulevard and north of the Ronald Reagan (118) Freeway, according to the LAFD.
One additional structure was exposed, the department reported.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
