Los Angeles Fire Department firefighters battled a non-injury blaze Saturday evening at a two-story home with heavy fire showing and extending to surrounding vegetation which is exposing an additional structure.
The fire was reported about 10:25 p.m. Saturday at 11626 N. Ruffner Ave., near Balboa Boulevard and north of the Ronald Reagan (118) Freeway, according to the LAFD.
One additional structure was exposed, but firefighters prevented it from being damaged, the department reported.
The blaze was extinguished by 10:45 p.m., according to the LAFD.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
