Four vehicles were fully involved in flames at a downtown Los Angeles parking garage Friday evening, with firefighters able to extinguish three of them.
The other fire was to an electric vehicle, “which will take copious amounts of water to extinguish,” said Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Margaret Stewart.
Firefighters arrived at the five-story parking garage in the 800 block of South Figueroa Street shortly before 8 p.m. Friday to a report of vehicle fires on the fourth floor, Stewart said.
It was unclear what sparked the fire, and the cause is under investigation. No injuries were reported.
