Firefighters were battling a fast-moving brush fire in Cabazon Saturday.
The fire was reported around 9:20 a.m. in the 51000 block of Ida Avenue, where crews found the blaze burning at a dangerous rate of spread, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
The fire had burned at least 10 acres, and authorities said winds of 5 to 10 mph could affect its spread.
The cause of the fire was not immediately clear.
