A man died Monday when his white compact pickup crashed in a construction zone in the West Adams area of Los Angeles.
The crash occurred at 12:44 a.m. at Crenshaw Boulevard and West 30th Street, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Samuel Martinez Jimenez, 58, of Los Angeles, died at the scene, the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner reported.
According to police, the northbound vehicle veered left and crashed into a catwalk and scaffolding, Moran said. The circumstances of the crash were under investigation.
