A 21-year-old man riding a 2007 Suzuki motorcycle was killed in a two-vehicle collision in Riverside, authorities said Thursday.

The Riverside’s Public Safety Communications Center received multiple calls regarding a collision that occurred at 10:12 p.m. Wednesday at Magnolia Avenue, east of Tyler Avenue, said Sgt. Emilio Angulo Riverside Police Department.

The investigation determined the motorcyclist, who was driving west on Magnolia, collided with a 2007 Toyota pickup being driven by a 34-year-old San Bernardino resident.

The motorcycle rider was taken to a hospital, where he later died from his injuries, said Angulo.

The pickup driver was not injured in the crash, remained at the scene and cooperated with police.

It was not immediately known if drugs and/or alcohol were contributing factors in the crash, Angulo said.
