A man was killed Sunday morning when a vehicle overturned on the Long Beach (710) Freeway in Paramount, authorities said.
The crash occurred about 5:15 a.m.Sunday on the southbound freeway, east of Alondra Boulevard, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The crash may have involved a Toyota sedan, the CHP said.
The Medical Examiner’s office identified the man as 25-year-old Jose Contreras.
A SigAlert was issued at 5:36 a.m. closing all southbound lanes and later updated at 6:16 a.m., opening up the No. 1 lane for traffic.
