A man stabbed a woman with a 10-inch screwdriver in the Westlake district Monday.
Officers responded to the 600 block of South Alvarado Street, near Sixth Street, around 6:15 p.m. to investigate the stabbing, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The victim was not taken to a hospital, according to Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
It was unclear what motivated the stabbing.
