An apparent ruptured underground water pipeline in Van Nuys damaged a roadway Tuesday, but no injuries were reported.
Crews arrived to the 6800 block of North Hazeltine Avenue at around 3:10 p.m. Tuesday after a report about flooding in the area, according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey.
Humphrey said personnel from the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power were assisting with the investigation. He added that there were no structural threats or evacuations.
