Authorities sought the public’s assistance Wednesday in locating a 47-year-old man last seen in Lawndale who is dependent on medication.
Eric Marcell Chaney was last seen in the 4200 block of 147th Street on Jan. 2 at around 8 a.m., according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Deputies described Chaney as a 5-feet-7-inch tall Black man weighing 180 pounds with brown eyes and a bald head. He also has a beard and was last seen wearing a white sweatshirt, dark-colored sweatpants and a silver chain.
Sheriff’s officials presume Chaney is possibly near the 300 block of East Seventh Street in downtown Los Angeles.
