A 78-year-old man diagnosed with dementia and hypertension last seen Monday in an unincorporated area near South Los Angeles was reported missing.
Juan Macall was last seen around 6:25 a.m. Monday in the 1200 block of East 77th Street, between Central and Compton avenues, in the Florence-Firestone area, according to the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
Deputies described Macall as a 5-foot, 10-inch tall Hispanic man weighing 140 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a brown checkered sweater, gray pants and black shoes.
Sheriff’s officials presume Macall is headed to or is in the 2600 block of South Catalina Street in South Los Angeles, and family members are concerned about his well-being.
