Two victims were shot in an attempted carjacking in Lake Balboa Thursday evening with the two suspects fleeing.
Officers arrived at the 7800 block of Amestoy Avenue, near Stagg Street, around 8:50 p.m. Thursday to a report regarding shots fired, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Police said two victims were taken to a hospital.
