A pedestrian was struck and killed on the Harbor (110) Freeway Friday.
California Highway Patrol officers were called at 2:01 a.m. to the southbound freeway and the South Vernon Avenue exist were they found the pedestrian in the slow lane, CHP Officer Sergio Garcia told City News Service.
The victim, whose age and gender were not immediately known, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The CHP closed all lanes of the southbound freeway while they conducted an investigation of the crash.
