The discovery of a suspicious package at the Walmart in Panorama City resulted in an overnight bomb squad investigation, but no threatening materials were found.
The package was found in the Walmart at 8333 Van Nuys Blvd. around 11 p.m. Thursday, KCAL9 reported.
A Los Angeles Police Department bomb squad investigated throughout the night and cleared the scene around six hours later. The store reopened at 6 a.m. Friday, the station reported.
