A stubborn fire started in the attic and eventually spread through a home Monday morning in the Gramercy Park area of Los Angeles.
The fire was reported at 12:19 a.m. at 2056 W. 97th St., said the Los Angeles Fire Department’s Nicholas Prange.
Arriving units saw smoke showing from the attic of the single-story home, Prange said.
The heavy flames inside proved stubborn for firefighters and spread through the home before they were knocked down at 1:22 a.m., he said.
No injuries were reported.
