A 47-year-old man who was found dead on train tracks in Commerce was identified Tuesday by county authorities.
Deputies dispatched at about 2:25 a.m. Sunday to the 5600 block of Randolph Street regarding a “person down” located a man on the train tracks with trauma to his upper body, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department reported.
The victim was identified by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner’s office as Leonardo Lopez. Paramedics pronounced Lopez dead at the scene, investigators said.
No additional details were available.
