Police were searing Thursday for the killers of a 20-year-old man who was shot and killed in Panorama City.
Los Angeles Police Department officers responded at 12:08 a.m. to 9401 Van Nuys Blvd. between Plummer and Nordhoff streets where witnesses told them the victim was walking on Van Nuys when two men drove up, got out of their vehicle and shot the victim several times, a LAPD spokesman told City News Service.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics were called to the scene and took the victim to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
The suspects sped away from the scene in an unknown direction.
