Fire Sunday morning damaged an attached garage at a single-story home in Riverside, authorities said.
Firefighters dispatched at 4:44 a.m. to the 2100 block of John Street had the blaze under control at 5:10 a.m., the City of Riverside Fire Department reported.
“The cause of the fire was determined accidental due to faulty battery charging equipment,” according to a news statement. ” The American Red Cross has been requested for two displaced residents.”
