A man killed in a shooting in Bell was identified Monday.
The shooting occurred about 10:30 p.m. Sunday in the 6500 block of Bear Avenue, near Ernest Debs Park and Gage Avenue, according to the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
Deputies arrived at the scene and discovered a man suffering from a gunshot wound and unresponsive. Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics attempted life-saving measures, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.
He was identified by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner as Kevin Parada.
Information about suspects and motive was not available.
